Our girl worked hard this year and showed herself what she’s capable of. She earned the Golden Scholar Award & Graduated from Jr. High!!
Sadly, the Jr. High didn’t hold a ceremony for either accomplishment. But as her parents we made sure she knows how excited we are for her and how proud we are of her for navigating this crazy school year! She has struggled with some things and she pushed through the best she could under the circumstances. That speaks volumes about her and how strong she is. I am so proud of her!
When I graduated from 8th grade my mom gave me this necklace. It was a complete surprise and meant so much to me. Especially since we didn’t have a lot of money when I was growing up. It made it even more special to me. I kept it in a special place waiting for my own daughter to graduate and today is that day! I don’t know if its a “trendy” style right now but I shared the story with her and told her I hope one day she has a daughter that she can pass it down to when she graduates from Jr. High. <3
After that tender mom and daughter moment she came out of her room with her math book.
She said, “I’ve cried too many tears over this thing!” And said she wanted to BURN IT! That was a quick turn of events! Hahaha!!!! I think this was her favorite part of the year. She cracks me up!
Congratulations Sweetie! We are so proud of you and we can’t wait to see what High School brings next year!!
