Happy 17th Birthday, Laney!

For the 3rd year in a row Alayna has picked Yao’s for her birthday lunch. We aren’t complaining we love it too! We celebrated a little early since Eli will be out of the country over her big day.

We all piled into the car and got ready to feast!

Taking a picture with my family never really goes as planned there’s always one kid (cough..Eli) who doesn’t cooperate.

We ordered SO MUCH FOOD! Our waitress was astounded at the amount of food we ordered and asked us if we wanted to move to a bigger table! We were dying laughing!!

I know you can’t read that fortune cookie very well it says “Love is in the air”. Very fortuitous. (More on this later.)

The last pic is what this poor little sister has to endure having older brothers. I think she secretly enjoys it (at least occasionally).

On Alayna’s actual birthday we did a little shopping. I made her a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting which is everyone’s new favorite now. It was exceptionally good!

She got lots of bday shout-outs on Insta and friends dropped by with flowers, gifts, treats, and spoiled her just the way she deserves. We of course finished the day watching ‘White Christmas’ (if you know you know 😉).
