CVHS Volleyball Season In Full Swing!

It’s been a BUSY month with Varsity volleyball!

Tryouts-

Tryouts were early in the month and Alayna is excited about the girls that made the team with her.

Media Day-

One of the dad’s is a photographer and he took some great shots of the girls!

Varsity Bonding Breakfast-

To kick off the season the team had a nice breakfast hosted at one of the Booster’s homes.

Scrimmage-

They played against 8 teams to help get them ready before their first game of the season.

Vs Highland-

Our first game of the season was against Highland. They’ve historically been a very tough and competitive team and that is still true. We fought hard but didn’t bring home the win that night.

Vs Williams Field–

Our first home game was against Williams Field, which is the school Walker teaches at!! 😀

Alayna’s Young Women’s group made signs and came out to cheer her on! And her fans didn’t end there. Grandma and Grandpa Morrison also came to root for her! <3

Great news…They won!! It always feels good to win at home!

Grandma and Grandpa brought her that rose and the YW gave her all the signs to bring home for her room. So thoughtful of everyone to support her and shower her with love.

The season is moving quickly! This weekend is the House of Payne at Chandler High. Going to get in lots of reps, try out different lineups, and get these girls working together like a well oiled machine!
