A Different Thanksgiving

The night before Thanksgiving however, Mom called and said Robin was sick. My family and I had been sick for the past month passing around to one another and just recovering from surgery I just felt too tired to go through all of that again. So I had to tell her that we wouldn’t be coming. I felt terrible!! 🙁 I know how much work goes into preparing such a large feast for the family and holidays are all about spending time with those you love.

So this year we had a ‘different’ sort of Thanksgiving. It was such short notice and not a whole lot of places are open on Thanksgiving Day, but we found one that would take our lonely family in for turkey meal. 😛
