Merry Christmas!
Christmas morning was quiet. I had to take some pictures of all the hard work it takes to decorate for the holiday before the mayhem began. 🙂
We had a beautiful Christmas service with my family! ✨🎄😇✨ This was the perfect way to bring the true spirit and meaning of Christmas into our hearts as we celebrate His birth. I’m so grateful for my Savior! 💖
We all met back at the house for gifts and a BIG breakfast!
Before we open gifts we have to take our traditional photo with Santa!
The earliest pic with Santa I can find is from 2007. Can you see him in the corner of the photo? LOL!
Boy they sure have grown!
The one with just the kids and Sammy is from 2008. They are so cute!!!
For Spring Break this year we are celebrating Alayna’s graduation from high school a little early. (It’s the only time we could get everyone’s schedules to line up.) She’s been beggggging to go to Disneyland. So I got everyone a t-shirt as a stocking stuffer for the trip! They were a big hit!
We exchanged all the other gifts and I think everyone was very happy.
We cleaned up and then headed to the kitchen to fill up on a smorgasbord of breakfast foods. And rolled ourselves into the living room to digest and relax. Ha!
Later that evening we went over to Mamaw & Pampa’s for some finger foods, games, and the Advent. It’s always a special and spirit filled time.
Sadly, Eli and Brynne had to leave early. They went to her mom’s and enjoyed their time there. Splitting your time between families on holidays once you get married is tricky business. I remember it well!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
