Christmas in Ireland

Eli & Brynne traveled to Ireland for Christmas Break with her brother, sister-in-law, and sister.

Yes, I’m very jealous!! 😛

They spent 10 days traveling all over the country. They saw some BEAUTIFUL places!

Eli is becoming quite the photographer! He has grown so much in his craft just from a year ago when they went to Iceland. These are stunning!!!

Eli has been planning all year to propose on this trip. He purchased the ring in May. He had a couple of places mapped out that he was going to pop the question and he decided Sliabh Liang (pic #7 above…which was taken just minutes after this…you wouldn’t believe it though with the sun shining so bright 🙃) would be the perfect spot.

What wasn’t accounted for was that day would be the wettest, coldest, foggiest day they had the entire trip!!!! But that didn’t deter him. He went ahead as planned and said it would just make for a more memorable experience! 💚

Brynne said it was so cold her hands were frozen and couldn’t get the ring out of the box! Haha!!

The kids video called us once they were all warm and dry back at their Airbnb. We loved hearing all about it. The excitement in their voices and the giant smiles on their faces.

This will be a trip they will remember for the rest of their lives for more than one reason! We are so happy and excited for them both. Brynne has been a part of the family since they were in junior high. But this makes it all official and we are thrilled to welcome her into our family and to have another daughter!
