Learning New Skills

At the end of the school year Alayna and I hatched a plan. She wanted to learn how to sew but because of all the crazy stuff in June we haven’t had a chance to get started. We finally got ourselves organized and she decided she wanted to start out by making a crazy quilt! 🙂

As with most beginning sewers you don’t really think about all the steps involved before you get to start the sewing portion of things. She was a little disheartened to find out we had to make a pattern and then cut out all the pieces first. 😛 

This will take us a while to complete but I’m really excited to start this project together! 😀 I’ll keep you posted on her progress!
