Oh Boy!
My good friend Dara is expecting a baby boy this month! I’m co-hosting a baby shower in her honor tonight. I decided to maker her a special cake for the occasion. 🙂
I think it turned out pretty good. I used a new type of fondant which I have decided I will NEVER use again. It cracked like nobody’s business and that just isn’t cool! Overall I think it was a success though. 😀

I dont know why you dont just give in and do cakes. you're very good at it. i hate it when fondant cracks. Have you been over to ABC baking in phoenix? They sell high quality fondant and can give you tips on stuff like how to not get cracks.

Actually that's where I got this new fondant. Hated it! But..I'm sure I could use a few tips in general. 😛

Hey, it looks great anyhow! Good job! Maybe someday I'll attempt fondant, but not anytime soon. I've yet to master the basic skills I have!
