Philadelphia, PA – Northeast Qualifier

It’s that time again, another club volleyball travel tournament!

Alayna and Jared went to Philly! They got to see some cool historical sites (which I’m totally jealous of! I love history!).

She’s such a goofball! Ha!

On one of the days they went to a touristy market place and one of the girls had her wallet hanging out of one of the pockets of her backpack. Some of the girls saw it happen and they chased after the guy. A police officer was nearby and the girls explained what happened. He detained the guy but said there wasn’t enough evidence to search him. WHAAAATTT!!!???? You’ve got to be kidding me! So crazy! So she lost all her money and her wallet. So incredibly sad and frustrating!! 🙁

This tournament was especially difficult for Alayna. It was a very low point for her and it was difficult as a mom to see her in this dark place. I won’t go into detail for her privacy. I will say however, that despite this, she showed up ready to play and gave it her all!

As fun as it is to travel it’s always nice to come back to “Home Sweet Home”! And it’s so good to hug my people when they get back! <3
