March & April Beach Volleyball Recap

Alayna has absolutely LOOOOVED playing beach this year!

I haven’t seen her laugh and have such a great time in a long time! Of course, she’s still focused and competitive but the overall atmosphere of beach is very different than indoor. It’s been a joy to watch her grow as a player (the cross training has been a wonderful benefit) and as an person (she’s really been able to do some self-reflection and gain some introspection).

She loved being paired with Charlotte. They were a dynamic team! They were a solid team and brought a lot of laughter to the game as well. They were so fun to watch!

I love this girl of mine! She amazes me constantly! She is the best daughter that I could have ever hoped for!

She definitely wants to play again next season. Her only regret is she hasn’t been playing since her freshman year. She’ll be a Senior next year!!! GULP!!!
