Alayna’s High School Graduation!
How have we gone from this sweetie pie graduating from Joy School……

To this!?!?!?

It’s hard to believe this day is here! Our baby of the family graduated!! 🩷
After graduation she’ll be attending CGCC in the fall where she’ll be playing volleyball 🏐 and getting her degree in kinesiology/sports medicine.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s go back a minute to the BIG Day!

We were a little late getting there so that meant we sat on the sunny side of the stadium. Which is the hotter side. Thankfully, even though it was warm, it wasn’t a scorcher! Tender mercies!!
Eli, Brynne, and later Alayna’s BFF Allie came out and cheered her on!

The graduates entering the field.

It was a nice evening. Especially once the sun went down. But that AZ sunset was certainly an extra bonus! So beautiful!
After all the talks, accolades, and looking back at what the last 4 years have been like for these kids it was time for the moment everyone was waiting for. Getting those diplomas!
Jared was able to grab some screenshots from the video recording the school put out for family that wasn’t able to make it.

Here’s a clip of her receiving her diploma…
And just like that….she’s a HS Graduate!

The students tossed their hats.

And fireworks were shot off to end the night’s celebration!
It was a little big of mayhem and chaos navigating through the sea of people. Everyone was trying to get to their kiddo and it was a little tricky trying to find each other.
Then allllll the pictures were taken to remember this special day!
The friends…
(I’m sure there’s more than what I have here on her phone somewhere.)

The family!! Sadly, Walker wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t able to make it.

Allie is such a wonderful friend! She got off work literally just in time to watch Alayna’s name be called and get her diploma! We’re so glad she could make it!

I’m so proud of this girl of ours! She has an inner strength and tenacity that is so admirable. She has grit, determination and holds herself to a high standard. Maybe too high sometimes. 😉 Between the hundreds of hours of volleyball, sand volleyball, club volleyball, work, and homework she was able to graduate in the top 5% of her class. I’m amazed at how she was able to manage her time and give everything she participated in her best. She has wisdom beyond her years. She’s a fierce friend and loves with her whole heart. She’s creative, artistic, funny, kind, passionate, and hard working. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and that quality draws people to her because they know they can be their authentic selves around her too. I could go on and on about this incredible young woman. But what I’m the most proud of is that she is faithful and is on a path to know her Savior and Heavenly Father deeply. And in her journey she’s been a light to others who have recommitted themselves to finding their own personal relationship with Them too. It’s been an amazing thing to witness! I’m so excited for her future. I know she’s going to do great things!🎓

And that’s a wrap!! Our last kiddo is done!

Goodbye Campo Verde High School! We’ve been at this school for 11 years. That’s a little crazy to think about too!
Congratulations Alayna!!! 💚🎓🧡
