Alayna’s Senior Trip – Day 2 Disneyland
We got up bright and early to make it to the Parks as close to opening as possible. The forecast for the day said it was going to be beautiful and sunny! We wanted to take full advantage of that gorgeous weather because the rest of the week’s forecast was saying it was going to be torrential rain!
On the way there Jared put on our nostalgic Disney CD that we played absolutely to death when the kids were little. Since Eli and Brynne were in their car Alayna videoed it for them. Ha!
We made it to DISNEYLAND!!!

The first ride of the day was Indiana Jones! What’s crazy about this is that in 1995, 30 years ago, this ride opened. And for my Senior Trip I went with Jared and bunch of friends to Disneyland and rode Indiana Jones for the first time. Now here we are with our grown family riding it again with our youngest daughter for her Senior Trip. Life has these funny little full circle moments!

Pirates is always a must-do ride. Alayna is obsessed with the smell of the water in Pirates. We need to get her a candle or something. Haha!

Jungle Cruise is fun especially when you get a really good skipper. Ours was pretty funny and interactive. He even got Eli to crack a smile!

Waiting in line for Rise of the Resistance. This ride is so cool.

Tiki Room is an absolute classic.

They recently reimagined the Tarzan Treehouse to The Adventureland Treehouse. Which is more similar to it’s original version when it was The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. It looks stunning at night!!!

We rode Minnie & Mickey’s Runaway Railway. It’s also a newer ride and it was so cute!

Haunted Mansion also has a new que which was pretty to walk through.

We rode everything we wanted to and some rides twice! Eli was a huge help being our Lightning Lane/Tour Guide specialist. He’s so savvy with these kinds of things and we were all grateful for his willingness to do all the scheduling.
Alayna found a new favorite treat too. It’s a cheesy garlic pretzel bread. She could not get enough of them. She had one every day we were there!!!!! She always walked away from Maurice’s Treats with a gigantic smile on her face while munching on one!

Day 1 was a success!!
