Well Earned!

Eli and his detachment went through Field Training Preparation (FTP). It was a long night! They put the cadets through a rigorous workout and push them to their limits.

He also made it in quite of few of their social media pictures which always makes this momma happy! 😀

Once the cadets finish they earn their OCP’s (Operational Camouflage Pattern Uniform). This uniform will replace his Dress Blues. They are also much more comfortable.

Earning his OPC’s is a right of passage. It shows that the cadet is committed and ready to move forward in their future in the Air Force.

Seeing his name patch on there was a bit of a sobering moment. Every time he accomplishes something it sinks in how real this journey is. We are extremely proud of Eli. He’s showing us all by example how to lead out and up!!
