Happy 50th Birthday, Robin!

On Sunday we had a surprise (belated) 50th birthday party for my sister. We all went over to my parents’ house and celebrated this special milestone with her.

She hasn’t always had an easy life. I admire her for her ability to keep putting one foot in front of the other and persevere no matter what has come her way. She’s been a single mom for 18 years and has some pretty difficult health issues. She’s supported Hollie and Dylan on her own despite all of her challenges. I can’t even imagine what that has been like for her. She is a strong woman! She’s amazing!

It was good to get together and share our love for her!
