Arizona Regional Championships

This was a long and tough day. We started bright and early all the way out in San Tan Valley for the 1st 3 games.

Then we moved over to the brand new Legacy Sports Complex, which is HUUUGE!

The girls didn’t get much of a break so they scarfed down a very late lunch on the drive over.

One of her old coaches, Coach Casey, sat in and watched their final game. He was high-fiveing Alayna and giving tons of advice and notes on how to improve each time she went out to play. She was eating it up!! She was beaming from getting such awesome support and positive critiques that were specific and to her game. He’s a great coach!!! (Sadly, I didn’t get a pic of them together.)

They played hard the rest of the afternoon and by the end of the day we were all tired, starving, and a little loopy! LOL!

Even though they didn’t earn a National Bid on their own…they were SO close!!!! We got some exciting news a couple of weeks ago. Other teams earned bids and or moved spots enough that we actually trickled up and earned a spot for the Freedom Bid.

And then we just found out that they moved up again, to the American Bid!!!
