Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Jared went with Alayna on her class fieldtrip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum!
They took a few selfies on the bus. 😛

It was a perfect day to be out. The weather was beautiful!
From their website: “Boyce Thompson Arboretum is the largest and oldest botanical
garden in the state of Arizona. It is one of the oldest botanical institutions
west of the Mississippi. The Arboretum was founded in the 1920s by mining magnate
Col. William Boyce Thompson. It encompasses 323 acres.”
They got to do some hands on learning and workshops.

Gathering kids for a group photo is easier said than done. 😛
They had a fun time and learned so much about our beautiful desert plants. I think having Dad come along was probably the biggest highlight of her day though! <3
