End Of Freshman Year!

We rolled up to school one day and this cool guy was spreading goodness and light into these high schooler’s world! Loved this so much!!!

I live in the car.

It’s the life of a mother. LOL! Driving kids to school, sports, church, ortho appts, doctor appts., you name it! One morning Alayna and I were chatting on the way to school and something she said sparked an idea that we should come up with an End of the Year song. Something that commemorates the stress and anxiety kids go through as they try to balance final exams and everything else going on in their busy lives.

Below is the song we wrote together. Sung to the tune of The 12 Days of Christmas. We thought we were pretty hilarious!!! Hahaha!!!!

On the 12th Day of Summer’s Eve
My Teachers gave to me…

Alayna was also spot lighted in the year book!

Alayna crushed her Freshman year and earned herself another Golden Scholar Award! 🎉

She was also accepted into the Athletic Training Student Aide Program for next year which is where she’ll help students with any injuries during practices and games! 🤕🩹👩‍⚕️

Another year in the books!!

Alayna has had a year full of ups and downs. Navigating HS is challenging. Between friends, school work, volleyball, and life in general these kids are juggling so much. We forget that too often. I’m so proud of our girl and how well she’s managed her time and responsibilities. I admire her ability to dig deep and find that grit and determination when she faces challenges she may not feel up for at first. She never gives up!!

Sophomore year here she comes!
