Today’s the Day….Good-bye Elder Kitch!!!!!!!

It’s been a whirlwind the last few days!
This morning came so quickly! We were up at 4:30am to get him to the airport on time. His flight was at 8:50am but for International flights you have to be there 3 hours early.

We had a little bit of time so Walker grabbed a quick breakfast before we headed over to Security.
Of course I had to take alllll the pictures to remember this day! LOL!
Me and my boy! <3 <3 Love him sooooo much!!!!
There were 2 other Elders waiting to leave for Mexico City with Walker as well. However, Walker is the only one returning to the states after the MTC (Missionary Training Center).
We got in as many hugs and I love you’s as possible!!! 💗 Then it was time to say goodbye…
I did pretty well up until Eli said, “Well…that’s it! He’s gone!” Then I had a moment of tears well up in my eyes. <3

As we were leaving I asked the kids what they wanted to have for breakfast. Eli’s response was, “A big bowl of sadness.” Oh that boy!! LOL! He’s really gonna miss his brother. <3

This week has been a roller-coaster of emotions. The Lord is lifting me up today. All the worry and anxiety is gone. I feel at peace and so excited and happy for Walker and the journey that lies ahead of him as he shares his love with the people of Tampa Florida and the message of the Gospel. 💛 He’s taken a piece of our hearts with him but I know he’s going to bless so many lives!!!

On a separate note: We got super turned around trying to find our car afterwards. We thought we had parked here.
However, we were on the complete opposite side in zone E which looks completely identical. We wandered around for a good 20-30 min. trying to find the car! Hahaha! We didn’t know if we’d been towed or if it’d been stolen ( although we don’t know who’d want Old Big Red! Hahaha!) We eventually found it and were grateful to get back on the road and head home. It was a little strange leaving with just the four of us. It’s going to take some time getting used to.
If you are interested in receiving weekly updates from Walker please PM me your email address. He’d love to keep in touch with you! 😊
