Swim Meet- 100M Freestyle
This week they had all the kids 9+ arrive at the same time to do their races. Which meant we arrived about an hour and half earlier than usual. It was SCORCHING hot!!!! We were melting. But we wanted to cheer our girl on and support her!
This week she’s been working on her breathing. Trying to build up her endurance for holding her breath longer between strokes. She said she felt like she was going to pass out..LOL!
It’s paying off though! Look at how much faster she is! Wow!
She was holding 1st place all the way until the last 10M or so. The other girl had some sort of last minute blast booster energy or something! LOL!
But this smile says it all! She’s was THRILLED to come home with 2nd place!
