Christmas Traditions
We like to put up the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. We stayed home from church since I was missing everyone and they were still recovering from their super fun vacation! 🙂
I had extra helpers this year which was really nice. It’s bitter sweet that the kids are getting older, but I do really love their help! 🙂
Dad usually puts the Angel on top but Alayna wanted to give it a try this year. It was a little precarious but they worked together and got her on there! 😛
For years Walker and Eli were the only ones with their names on their stockings. Alayna was feeling a little left out so I embroidered hers, mine and dad’s on. They aren’t perfect…and I wish I would have had gold thread for dad’s but at least Santa won’t be so confused this year! 😛
I love getting the tree up. Even if nothing else gets put up. It makes the house just feel warm and inviting! I still can’t believe it’s December!
